This repeater and its autopatch facilities are OPEN to all hams at all times - without regard to memberships, dues, meetings, fees or "favors." If you feel you must contribute something, please do so, but direct it to other worthwhile projects such as contributing a study-guide to a prospective ham; or join MARS or ARES; or contribute to your local club's building fund. The repeater is my contribution to the amateur service. Consider it a freebie for your use and enjoyment.

The repeater is a ragchew machine. Don't be shy about breaking-in during some of the long-winded conversations to make a call. Have fun!

 

Autopatch Operation

Always use the HIGH-power setting on your radio.   This is especially important when placing calls from the repeater's fringe area.

The autopatch access code is available for free.   Just call or e-mail.   OJ, K0OJ,

Dial the access code, plus the Greeley/Ft. Collins exchange telephone number, plus a star (*)

for example:   NNN 352 8080 *

To hang-up, press the pound (#) key.

The autopatch time-out timer is set for 9-minutes.
(Emergency "911" calls will not timeout.)

Please don't divulge the autopatch access code over the air. Offer to dial a number for someone, if necessary, and then have them contact me for the code itself.

Two and three-digit autopatch dialing macros are available.   Generally, everyone can have a couple of 2-digit macros; it may be necessary to assign 3-digit macros to accommodate more than that.

 

Emergency Autopatch Calls

Dial 911* (nine-one-one-star) in any emergency situation. The Greeley "911" operator can dispatch to ALL other agencies. Tell the operator that you are using a 2-way ham radio so they will know to take turns talking.   Give your name, but not your callsign, unless asked.   Don't complicate their job.
